Data Deletion Instructions

In compliance with Meta Platform Terms, GDPR, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), you have the right to request deletion of all personal data we hold about you — including any data collected through our Facebook app, Instagram integrations, or WhatsApp Business API.

• Name, email address, and phone number from contact forms or Meta Lead Ads
• Facebook/Instagram account information connected to our platform
• WhatsApp Business messaging history
• Social media campaign performance data linked to your account
• Client portal account data (if you have an account)

Option 1 — Email Request (Recommended)

Send an email to socialsimulationmedia@gmail.com with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”

Include in your email:

• Your full name
• Email address associated with your account or Meta profile
• Facebook User ID (if known) — found at facebook.com/profile.php
• Description of what data you want deleted

Option 2 — Through Facebook

You can also revoke our app's access and request deletion directly through Facebook:

• Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
• Find "Social Simulation" in the list
• Click "Remove" to revoke access
• Then email us to confirm full deletion of stored data

Option 3 — Contact Form

Use the contact form at socialsimulation.in/#contact and mention “Data Deletion Request” in your message.

• We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours
• We will verify your identity to protect against fraudulent deletion requests
• Deletion will be completed within 30 days of verification
• We will send you a confirmation email once deletion is complete
• Some data may be retained where legally required (e.g. invoice records for tax compliance — 7 years under Indian law)
• Retained data will be clearly explained in our response

Certain data may be retained despite your request due to legal obligations:

• Invoice and financial records (required for GST compliance — 7 years)
• Data required for ongoing legal proceedings
• Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot identify you

For data collected through our Meta app (Facebook Login, Lead Ads, WhatsApp Business API):

• We delete all Meta user tokens upon request
• Lead data synced from Meta Lead Ads will be permanently deleted
• WhatsApp conversation history held in our system will be removed
• We notify Meta of the deletion as required by their Platform Terms
